Dajas Douro Valley was born from the family's love of the serenity and unique beauty of the banks of the Douro River, Portuguese traditions, the region's unique cuisine and, of course, the wines, whose quality is already internationally recognised. We wanted to share with our guests the best of what is produced in the region, creating our Mercearia & Wine Shop and, at the same time, recovering the collective imagination of the old grocery stores, where we were always greeted with a smile and, often, a chocolate figurine, which delighted the youngest. In addition, aware of the urgent need to protect the planet for future generations, we try to encourage the purchase of quantities that are actually necessary, by selling in bulk or in small packages, thus combating waste.
