We seek to respect the architectural features of the traditional houses of the region, combining them with a touch of sophistication. We believe in the beauty of the imperfect, simple and incomplete things, in the discreet detail and in the family spirit that we instill in every nook. Thus, we have chosen to combine decoration pieces which belong to the family for generations, with a decoration of natural aspect, monochromatic, harmoniously uniting tradition and modernity. \n\n\nThe inspiration emanated from places visited in several trips around the world is also a constant presence. The beauty of Italy's Amalfi coast served as the motto for planting lemon trees and producing limoncello, one of David de Almeida Martins' favourite liqueurs, and one of the challenges posed to his daughter Alexandra and her husband Artur, the hosts. The option for the Hand Buda Lemon also came after a trip to the Orient, namely to Japan and Thailand. \n\n\nLet yourself gaze at a hand-painted canvas of the Douro region, enjoy a dazzling sunset while tasting one of our local wines, appreciate a walk through the property across the lemon plantation and the orchards, or simply value the priceless sound of silence in perfect harmony with the unique beauty of the landscapes of the Douro Valley Region.\n\nWelcome to the Douro!
